Craft and ChAT

Everyone welcome. Please come along and learn new crafts as we chat and create products that can be sold in reception to raise money for the cats. Experienced crafters will help beginners to sew, knit, crochet and more so beginners are welcome. Patterns & products will be supplied, so you just need to bring yourself. Ramathon | Sunday 5th June 2016 | iPro Stadium We are looking for five runners to take part in the Ramathon for team Cats Protection. If you think that you could acheive this personal goal and raise a minimum of £200 for Derby adoption centre we would love you to apply for a free place in our team. As we said goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 we just wanted to say thank you to all of our lovely friends of the adoption centre. Your support is important to us . . . the more people that know we are here, we stand a better chance of finding homes for the abandoned and unwanted cats in our care. We found homes for 1,011 cats and kittens during 2015 which was a fantastic result but we can do better with your help as we always have hundreds of cats waiting to come in to find a new home. Don't worry we have all been behaving ourselves! We had a visit today from the Derbyshire police who had been escorting the funeral cortege of Squadron Leader Herbert Nevil Mottershead MBE, of Brailsford, a stalwart supporter and president of the 158 Squadron Association, who sadly passed away on Wednesday, October 28 age 93. The tiny village church, two minutes away was packed out with over 500 mourners and the local police also had to close roads, organise parking and generally be on hand, ...

I adopted her from Cats Protection Derby April 2010 , she was a quiet timid cat and it's taken up until now October 2015 for her to choose to come and have lap snuggles. Worth the wait.
